Unable to change email address

I have been using Trello with my company's email address. After an acquisition, our email addresses changed and the new parent company started managing our Atlassian account access with our new email addresses.
I need to change the email address for the Trello account to be the new one. The issue is Trello says my company has to manage but my company already has the new email address so there is no need to change it. I do not have access to the old email address even though I use it to log into my Trello account.
I am not sure who can fix this.

Welcome to the Community! I'm sorry to hear you're having a problem with changing your email address attached to your account.

Just to clarify, you are not able to change the email address you use to log into Trello by going to your account settings page at http://trello.com/my/profile and clicking on Profile & Visibility. Then selecting Change email address from the Contact section?

If so, a potential way to solve this would be to set up a new account with the new organizational email address and then look to merge the old and new account. See below the steps from Trello...

Log into the account you do not wish to use anymore.
On each board, invite your other user (the one you intend to keep using) and make that user an admin of that board. If you're not an admin of the board, simply invite the user to the board.
For each Workspace, invite the other user to the Workspace.
Log out of Trello or optionally delete the Trello account that you no longer wish to use.
Log in as the user you wish you keep using, who should now have access to the first user's boards and Workspaces.
If you would like to use a different email address for your account, you may change the email address on your account.

Sorry, this is not acceptable. I don't think that you realise the workload required to perform the above tasks for all boards.

Are you saying that we can't change email address with Trello ?

I am looking for the same.

I am changing my personal email address (that no longer exists) to a company email address. On changing it through the Manage Account settings, I do not receive any confirmation email on the new email address.

This approach is not feasible, as the existing user is associated with a hundreds of cards and doing this would just mean changing every single one of them with the new user. We cannot lose this information.

Sorry, but we need to be able to change the email address for the same account. Is there anything that can be done?
