Unable to commit via SourceTree anymore

Since I installed version 2.x I'm no longer able to commit as git return an error that tell me my email is not specified.

I've never been offered an option to specify it. How can I move forward?

You should be able to set your e-mail address (on Mac) SourceTree->Preferences->General
