Would like to hide repositories by group or project

We have over 40 repositories with more to come.  It would be nice if certain users could only see certain repositories  etc. for a cleaner user experience.   I know I can use projects to restrict reviewers on a repository, but I would like to hide it altogether.   I attempted to do this on the admin page for repositories by unchecking "can read" for certain groups, but this doesn't appear to do anything.  I am not in the group that "can read", but I can still look at the repository in Fisheye.  Anyone know how to do this?  And, what exactly does the "can read" permission do?   Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi @James Rice,

The permission are cached for a short period of time, so once you check the permission settings this might require some time to activate.  Try logging out and logging in perhaps, to invalidate the cache and see new permissions in place.

The "can read" is meant to work exactly as you expect - users without it would not be able to see the repository on the repository list, when click URLs pointing to content of such repositories they would see an error message.
