Changing email address and keeping history of original account

I work in a business where its members have been using Trello with their personal emails so far. Now that their business email addresses have been set up, we have asked them to switch to their new emails so that only business accounts can access the boards.

There is a problem regarding members who have been using Trello for their business & personal tasks simultaneously:

They have been asked to create new account which is invited to each board accordingly. Then, we have asked them to join their current tasks with their new account, which is followed by the removal of their original account, but any track, showing the members of the archived cards is lost. This matters because it is our only way to know who has done what.

Is there a way to do this in a way that history remains completely?

If you already made new accounts using the business email there is no way to do it now. 

If they had not yet used their business email in trello they could have just changed the email address in their account. It won’t let them do they now this because that email already belongs to a different account.
