Making an alert from a powershell script to run on a VM

Hello,

I want to use powershell to create an alert. I need powershell to run on a certain VM as I need it to run the backup server. Are we able to do this, and if so, how?

I guess what I can do is make it run on the server itself, send an email and make rules based on the email but wondering if opsgenie can do it itself based on the results instead of email.

Hi @Alojz Cuk - you can leverage our Alert API to create alerts from a Powershell script. You would need to write the Powershell script and set it up on the VM on when/how it should be executed, and within the Powershell script you can make requests to our API to create alerts.
