Why is butler variable not filling in email?

I have multiple boards that send the same style of report. I saw that there is a variable {cardboardname}. I tried putting that variable into the email report to clean up the templates and have a more unifrom template as the only diffrence is the board name in the emails but when I went to test it, its not putting anything in. Any Guidance on this is greatly appreciated

That variable “The name of the board where the card was found. Available only after find card with id.”

Confusing part of the documentation is that I do not recall you can find a card using the id - it’s by title or cardlink .
