Has anyone lost activity on their Trello board when they create a template?

Kelly Wilbanks

I created a board to make a template. Everything seemed fine, and then a week later, I lost all my activity on the board.

And now I can't seem even to add activities. I sent the board to a few people, and when they went back to their boards, they saw they had changed.

Hi Kelly,

As per our page Creating template boards:

The primary purpose of templates is to provide a jumping-off point for others – not to collaborate. Workspace members will only have the ability to edit the template directly if they are members of the template. We also hide traditional “collaboration” features like watching, activity feed, and comments on templates.

If you wish to see comments and activity on your board again, you will need to move it back to a normal board, not a template board.

Thanks,
Alex
