bamboo restore

Question

I had to restore my bamboo instance from an old back up but now I cannot login as my admin user as it no longer takes my password

Is there a way to fix this from command line?

Also is there a way to configure the email server settings from the command line?

welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Bamboo stores information about the mail server (mail server name, port, authentication details like username and probably the password) in it's database.
There is no command to configure those settings from command line.
You could figure out where in database exactly the data are stored but in general changing configuration there is something which is not recommended throughout Community - a wrong setting could lead to unexpected issues in Bamboo.
