Dashcards not updating

Has anyone had the issue of Dashcards not updating properly?

When we move a card out of the specified list, it sometimes doesn't update. As well, we've deleted cards entirely and the dashcard points to the card as if it was in the queried list, but when I click on the link to the card (referenced in the dashcard itself), it says it can't find it (because it was deleted).

If it can't find it, why is it including it in the count? How do I force it to refresh?

I tried deleting and recreating the card but it still sees cards that don't exist for some reason.

Can you try the following: on the board where the delated card, move a card from a list to another list and back. Hopefully this should refresh the dashcards that refer to that board.

If that doesn't work, please submit feedback through the Dashcards user interface (open a Dashcard, click on the link where it says "Dashcards is in beta. Tell us what you think to help us improve.") and make sure to tick the box "Atlassian may contact me regarding this feedback".

Finally, may I ask if you deleted the cards in question directly, or did you archive them first?

Thank you much for the response!

Unfortunately, the "offending" cards and lists were removed to see if we could fix it. It worked fine at the start but, after a couple of weeks, seemed to "drift".

However, if it helps to troubleshoot: even if I completely delete all lists and cards on a board, and the dashcard, then make new lists and a new dashcard, it still sees the old cards and lists on the board. The lists pop up as selectable options with the number of cards beside them when creating the dashcard, even with no content on the board.

We made a whole new board, which clearly fixed the problem.

At this point, I don't know if it's a dashcard issue or if Trello is reporting that these lists and cards still exist "behind the scenes" even if they've been removed?

We enjoy the power-up. I hope we can eventually get it to work for us cross-board!

That seems to indicate that the Dashcards indexer has stopped indexing one of your boards. This should not happen, but there could be exceptional circumstances such as changes in permissions (the user who created the Dashcard no longer has access to a board or has revoked permission to Dashcards to access their account), or even a bug on our side. I have the exact same problem on a totally different companies Workspace. I have eight boards in a workspace. If I move a list of cards from one board to another board or I move a single card from one board to another board, on the dashcard, I'll still see the "phantom" cards from the original board as well as the copies where they were moved to.

If I use the Explore function inside the Dashcard and use that to open the "phantom card", it will take me to the correct card on the correct board. But I have duplicates of the cards in my dashcard.

I'm having the same issue. I tried deleting a card and remaking it since it seemed to happen after I duplicated it. That didn't help but if I hit 'explore and edit' and then start editing the filters it will update. For now I seem to have to do that for each card to get it to update.

Having the same issue but now in 2026?

Newly created Power-Up for Dashcards I just made it myself and was testing features.

After deleting a card from a board it does not update the Dashcard view for all cards.
Dashcard lists a card that has been deleted but it is still in the queried list, but when I click on the link to the card (referenced in the dashcard itself) I get this error -

Card not found.

This card may be on a private board. If someone gave you this link, they may need to share the board with you or invite you to their Workspace.
