Markdown in a checklist

unknown

I'm trying to add a hyperlink to an item in a check list on a card.  The item should be - "16 June - Email to Bob " and I want this text to be a clickable hyperlink to the actual email,  I've tried, [16 June Email to Bob] (Url to the email) but it doesn't work - all I get is exactly what I type and the hyperlink works ok bit "16 June Email to Bob" isn't the clickable bit. I hope this isn't confusing! What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Hello @[deleted]

Your example shows a space between the right square bracket and the left bracket; there should be no space, like this example:

[16 June Email to Bob](https://url.to.the.email/where/ever/it/is)

Refer to the How to format your text in Trello page for more information on Trello's markdown code.
