-Do we have to upgrate compulsory to Business Plan to access to Workspace?

-Can we keep the things the way they are now?

-When I go to one of my boards and click on the workspace table, I get a message that says "Start free 14-day trial?"

-I am confused. Is it possible to use the Workspace tool for free, or do you need to upgrade?

Welcome to the Community! To help with your Trello questions I've answered them point by point below:

Do we have to upgrate compulsory to Business Plan to access to Workspace? - The simple answer is no, you can access workspaces on Trello's free plan which are limited to 10 open boards at any time however it depends on you/your team's needs as there are limitations associated to the free plan. Read more here.
Can we keep the things the way they are now? - Yes you can, nothing has to change if the free plan is offering everything you need.
When I go to one of my boards and click on the workspace table, I get a message that says "Start free 14-day trial?" - The workspace table is a Business Class feature which allows a more collaborative view for you and your team. This is one functionality that is not offered in the free plan, however Trello offer a free trial so you can see if this new feature is beneficial for you.
Is it possible to use the Workspace tool for free, or do you need to upgrade? - It is possible to use the workspace feature on the free plan what isn't included is additional functionalities such as an unlimited number of workspace boards, workspace table view, timeline and calendar, and collections.
