Blocking access requests - JIRA/Confluence

Question

Hi

We store our wiki on Confluence and share it with third parties. When we send them an invite they receive an email. They follow the link and it takes them to a JIRA access request page instead of Confluence.

We are looking at the best way of just giving users/guests access to just Confluence without involving JIRA which we don't want these third parties to use

Any help on this topic would be much appreciated

That helps and does send them to Confluence

It seems to be only part of the answer. It used to be that someone got an invite, accepted it, and was fully setup

Even with the change above, when I invite someone say with a personal email address it pushes people through to signing up for a new account, which asks them to create their own space etc ?

Is this the expected flow ?

Can we direct directly to our confluence page ?

Your site has a URL, something like sitename.atlassian.net

That URL will direct all users to a single product. You can set the landing product for that URL here: https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/set-your-sites-landing-product/

If you change that landing product to be Confluence, then all your users will land on the confluence product, after clicking the invite link.

There is also a change we're making to only provide specific product links in the invitation email, so users will never be encouraged to go directly to the main site URL. This should be available to you by the end of May
