How to create the EPIC

Welcome to the community, there are multiple ways to create an EPIC in jira. You can refer to the below shared article to understand the different ways of doing so:https://www.atlassian.com/agile/tutorials/epics
The obvious answer is "Click Create, Select Project, Select Epic for the issue type".
I suspect there is a deeper question here, possibly that you can't do that because it does not offer "epic".
Could you explain the question more?
