Trello's new feature, by pasting the link during new card creation, will create a card link instead of a regular card. I dislike this feature and would like to disable it. However, I could not find any reference to reach this. Thank you.
You can’t disable this feature but you could add a word to the title like
“url http://youtube.com”
or after making the card you can click the pencil icon and choose “convert to regular card”
