Automate move list to position in Board?

Question

hi, sorry if this is stupid, but I can't figure it out.

I have a board with a list for each of my client projects, and I want to automate that every time I modify or add a card to one of the lists, the whole list moves to the last postition in the board, but butler is so rigid in the rules and triggers I can't see a way to do this. I googled and found something called command builder, but this seems to be somehow obsolete?

in general terms, I feel like the information out there on making the most of trello is hidden in piles of chaff of old stuff.. it's so frustrating.

@Kyle Roode yep, the "bottom" position for lists is all the way to the right, the "top" position is all the way to the left.

Also note that Google Apps Script has undergone some changes and some of those have significantly complicated deployment. We have deployed a new hosted version called BenkoBot that allows you to create and run automations using the Trellinator library:

Hi, Iain. I think your function to move a list to the bottom is similar to what I am needing to implement in one of my boards. Just to clarify: by "move a list to the bottom", do you mean this will change the position of a list to the left or to the right?

@[deleted]yeah New Butler is missing a lot of functionality from Butler Bot. This Trellinator function will move a list to bottom position whenever you add a card to it:

You could define other conditions like posting a comment, moving a due date and so on which should trigger the list move. You can read more about Trellinator here:
