Agile board will not remove Non-working day

This is happening on Data Center serve. I have a scrum board and a date was added because team thought it was a non-working day. Turns out it is a working day.

I have correct permissions for project and board to manage configuration.

I have clicked on the x next to the date and it is not being removed.

I do have an active sprint, but I have adjusted dates before and it was not an issue.

no that will not help This is some type of JIRA error.

thanks for the suggestion; I did not specify and have updated the problem; this is on Data Server; it is not on cloud.
