How can a Slack subscriber view and modify components?

Question

1. We enabled Slack notification AND Component subscription features in our status page.

2. Subscribed a viewer via the native Slack integration (NOT via the Webhook)

3. After the Slack subscription is already made and configured, how can the slack subscriber (not the Statuspage admins) view and modify the subscribed components?

Hi Joshua,

For pages where component level subscriptions are enabled, you'll see a "Manage Notifications" link at the bottom of any notifications in Slack.

That's the easy way - just click Manage Notifications when you get a notification about a component you'd rather silence, and uncheck that component in the subscription settings.

What happens if you don't have a notification handy though? Well, there a couple things you can do:

* Search/scroll back in the channel. You can use "from:@Statuspage" as a search filter in Slack to find previous messages from the integration, and click the "Manage notifications" button when you find one from that page.
* Go to the Statuspage itself and resubscribe your Slack channel. Once you authorize the Statuspage app in Slack and choose the channel, you'll get a message in Statuspage that the particular channel had already been subscribed. It will send a new notification to the Slack channel as well saying you've added a subscription (even though you already had one). In your browser however, you'll be on the component-level configuration in Statuspage where you can check/uncheck components you're interested in. Don't forget to click Save at the bottom of the page! Your previous component preferences show up when you land on this page, so you're not losing data by going this route.
