Why am I getting this error? warning: templates not found C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\git_local\share\git-core emplates

When I am trying to clone a repository to my local machine I am getting the following warning.

warning: templates not found C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\git_local\share\git-core	emplates

Why am I getting this? How can I fix it?

I want to view the source code via SourceTree.

Hi, I'm getting the same error but it also includes a "fatal" message. Although it says it has "Completed successfully".

Should I be concerned?

You'll notice that is a "warning", not an error. If the clone is failing, there should be another error message somewhere in the output.

If there is NOT another error, then you've got the same situation as the guy in this question: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/33138851.
