Is it possible to deny access to specific SVN folders

Hi,

We have an SVN repository where we need to deny read access to a specific folder tree for a particular group. We can do this within SVN itself but need to ensure when the repository is added to Fisheye, this group cannot access those folders, but can still access the remainder of the repository.

Is this possible?

I believe fisheye only has permissions for groups at the repository level. If you can make that subdirectory be its own repository in fisheye, then you should be able to protect it. Since you want to 'hide' the directory, I do not think denying permissions at the svn level would work. The names of the files will still be seen, but they would not be able to extract them.

Hi Martin,

As a suggestion, you may want to see Crowd integration with SVN, this will allow you to configure fine-grained authorisation to you SVN repository.

It is not access to SVN I need to control - I can do that using the groups within VisualSVN Server. Also I was hoping for a solution that does not involve another product.
