Is there a way to automatically create a checklist from a card's description?

Question

I would like to be able to create a checklist on a newly created card from its description.

To be clear, I use the email-to-board functionality to create card with a list of orders to pickup. So far I manually copy and paste the description in the checklist to create the checklist, but I would like to know if there is a way to auto create it with butler or any powerup out there?

Awesome I was not aware of the API. I read about your implementation of trellinator but I’m confused about the reliance on a google sheet as your broker instead of a more robust DB like redis. 
I think I will develop my own python web app with celery / redis to automate all this.

@Alexis you couldn't do it with Butler, but could do this using the API. This is an example using Trellinator:
