The only admin in my board has left the organization. I need to change the admin

The only admin in my board has left the organization, in which we have deleted the emaila account before knowing that he was the only admin of the board that we are currently using. I become his replacement, yet I can't change the admin setting since the account is no longer there. 

How should I change the admin of the board?

We can not change any permissions from our end on teams or boards for security reasons.

If the board is part of a team, you can upgrade your team to Trello Business Class, which adds several features to make managing teams a bit easier, including the ability for team administrators to take control over all boards in the team.
