bamboo boostrap fails  

 

1) I have chown the owner from root to bamboo, restart bamboo application from the installation directory  and it works

 

However, the user changes back to root instead of bamboo 

 

I have to change the user every morning and repeat same process rather than automatically coming up after reboot.

 

What will be a permanent fix for this issue so that the application will will automatically comes up after it shots down 9:30 pm every night and comes back up at 6:30 am every morning

welcome to the Atlassian Community!

It is not a normal case that the owner of the diectory changes back to user 'root'.

Try to capture when this happens and which process or user the change is caused by to get to the bottom of that case. This is a low level job - in general it has nothing to do with Bamboo.

I'd start by looking at cronjobs or an automation like Puppet or similar which might be updating the owner of the directory.
