Difficulties connecting SourceTree to system mercurial

I've installed the current version of Mercurial (4.0.2) onto my Windows 7 computer. I've installed the current version of SourceTree. But I have no luck enabling Mercurial support.

When I go to Options > Mercurial and click Enable Mercurial Support, SourceTree can't find the mercurial installation. I get a dialog with a list of options. I chose the option to locate the Mercurial installation manually, and point to the C:\Program Files\Mercurial\hg.exe . Mercurial comes back with the same dialog. It doesn't like my choice, apparently.

What might I be doing wrong? What am I missing? What is missing?

I'm getting a similar issue but I can't even point to my mercurial installation, when I try to choose the option I just get the message back saying that it can't be found with no option to indicate where the installation is. So I chose no mercurial. When I try to enable mercurial it goes back to the same options. In the end the only option appears to be to download an embedded mercurial

I've got the same Problem with Mercurial 4.1.2 on Windows 7.

I'm currently using SourceTree 2.0.19.1.
