Best storage type for fisheye/crucible in AWS

Im setting up a fisheye/crucible environment in AWS using the https://hub.docker.com/r/alvistack/fisheye docker image. Im planning to mount a host directory for FISHEYE_HOME directory. I would like to get recommendations for which storage type would suite best for this implementation.
Example:
EBS volume: General Purpose SSD/Provisioned IOPS
Amazon EFS

I would use the fastest storage available.  The indexing process is diskio intensive, so the faster your disk speed capability, the faster your indexing happens.
