Can Ichose the order of the labels that i Created?

Eduardo Tacca

Hello guys, I'm having a trouble.
I have a bord for self organization. And kind of 10 labels for that (like doing, done, new thing, if it is about my business or my personal life...)
The problem is that the order is wrong. I would like that when in click "labels" in a card, the order to be the way i wrote just up side, but it happens that when i create a new label the order becomes completly random, I cannot chose the order.
I tryied to move the labels up and down but it doesn't move
Could please someone help me on this situation?

Hi @Eduardo Tacca

I struggled with this as well, even putting 1, 2, 3 at the beginning of the label doesn't change the order. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do to change the label order.

I got around this by using the Custom Field PowerUp, which means I can 'label' through that and have them in the order that I want by using the 'dropdown' option. The good thing is that now you can use Butler with Custom Fields as well as being able to search within Custom Fields too.

The other thing to do is to number the labels within the labels function in 'show more' then change the colours so that they are in the right order, otherwise you're going to have to change all the labels on cards that are already labelled, because if you change a label name from say 'doing' to 'done' all the cards already labelled will be wrong.

I don't know if that helps at all, but it's the only way to have them in an order that you want.
