There are no terrible questions, everyone started as a newbie at one point or another
Here's what you want to do:
Once you are logged into Trello, click on your user avatar in the top right corner of the page/screen.
In the drop down menu that appears select "Profile and Visibility"
Once you are on your profile page, if you hover over your existing avatar, you should see a link to change it.
