SourceTreeForMac keeps asking me for github authentication

Just downloaded the version 2.4.1 and It fails every time to authenticate to the github server. All the info is correct, I'm using two-factor-authentication and both SSH and HTTPS protocol fail. Is it a bug?

Steps taken:

Top bar>SourceTree>Preferences>Accounts>Add...

Host:GitHub

Auth type: OAuth

Protocol: HTTPS

OK.

For the first try I get "The request timed out."

For subsequent tries I get "Could not authorize request with the available token. Please re-authenticate."

Damn, I couldn't find that anywhere, it worked. The documentation is misleading though. It says "For versions earlier than SourceTree 2.4 for Mac and SourceTree 1.10 for Windows." but my version is 2.4.1 and I needed this workaround. Make it an answer please
