Do I have the program installed correctly?

The first time I installed SourceTree I followed all the steps as the install setup indicated, and it got installed like nothing bad happened, but when I checked for the workspace, or the path folder, or even the direct access icons, none of that was there. Then, I uninstalled it from the Programs and aplications setting in the configuration window for Windows 10. I tried to repeat the instalation process once again to be sure it got installed right, but this time it didn´t show any configuration settings, just got installed automatically and opened the UI, and it had the same problems as the first time. What I am doing wrong?.

Thanks for reporting your issue with getting Sourcetree installed and running on your machine. It sounds as though Sourcetree is installing from what you’ve described. The issue we might be facing is with a default Windows OS, the Sourcetree files/path will be marked as a hidden folder. You’ll need to ensure that you’re able to see hidden files and folders within Windows.

If you’re still unable to locate the Sourcetree install, please check the Windows event viewer to find any errors or warnings during the install period.
