Following installation guide, but the properties file I am supposed to modify is not there.

I am using the guide at the following URL: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamboo/installing-bamboo-on-linux-289276792.html

But I am stuck at this step:

b) Open <Bamboo installation directory>/atlassian-bamboo/WEB-INF/classes/bamboo-init.properties

c) Uncomment the bamboo.home line.

d) Provide the absolute path absolute path to the bamboo-home directory.

The bamboo-init.properties file referenced in the guide (as well as the classes directory) is not there.

Does anyone have an example of this file or the contents of the missing directory they could share?

It looks like my tar.gz file did not fully inflate. So I will look into that.

I've downloaded the tar.gz version 6.10.2 of Bamboo and I could locate the bamboo-init.properties file. Did you have figured out?

Yes, I feel dumb. I copied the file to my /tmp directory, but didn't realize it was bigger than the leftover capacity of that directory, so only part of the archive moved over. I made room and redid it, and everything seems to be fine.
