What are the alternatives for Opsgenie?

I am looking for a network monitoring solution to deploy on-premise.

I can't work with Opsgenie because it's in the cloud and I work with very sensitieve data.

Data that is so sensitive that can only be stored on the private servers off my company.

Are there any solutions in the Atlassian suite?

Hi there @jarne staelens Opsgenie is now an Atlassian product. Atlassian acquired Opsgenie in September 2018.

If the concern is around using on-prem tools and data privacy, Opsgenie has two features that might be worth looking into. The first is Edge Connector, which is a lightweight edge application that can be deployed on-prem or in the cloud to provide a secure, bi-directional integration for systems that are not accessible to the internet. Edge Connector communicates with Opsgenie without requiring inbound connections through your firewall. Alert events are then fetched from Opsgenie and updated within your on-prem applications.

The second is Edge Encryption. Edge encryption secures data before it leaves your environment, and you manage the encryption keys. Atlassian never receives the raw payload of your alert data. The only fields of the alert that are not encrypted include alias, message, tags, and priority as these are necessary for routing the alerts. Thank you for your response! But I still have some doubts about how robust these applications are. How can you handle large quantities of data in these two features? And how do you prevent data leakage, corrupted data?

Because I am right that the Edge Connector is a relatively new product in the Atlassian suite?

OpsGenie is not a Network monitoring solution. It complements a good monitoring solution by aggregating and handling notifications and some other neat tricks, but by itself doesn't actually monitor anything. You configure your monitoring tools to feed thier alerts into OpsGenie.

xMatters plays in the same space, and has a on prem solution but is very expensive and complicated. Most of the other completing products are also cloud.

As far as actual monitoring. Solarwinds is a powerful and pretty industry standard solution. Zabbix is an open source once that i tend to use. Both will integrate nicely with OpsGenie.

I also experimenting with the features of Zabbix. Can I place Zabbix on premise and forward the problem data to Opsgenie. I think that this is a good solution for me. How does Zabbix integrate with Opsgenie?
