Sourcetree(3.2.1) asks for bitbucket password

Question

When I'm trying to clone a repo from bitbucket to sourcetree it asks for bitbucket account password that I know is the correct Atlassian password. But the password keeps getting rejected every time. Is there any fixes for this? I have tried downgrading to 2.6 version with no luck, used both system git and embedded git with no luck. How can i fix this? Thanks

Hi i'm very sure that my account is connected but it still asks for the bitbucket password.

And I'm typing in my correct Atlassian password but it says its wrong

Hi Anders, welcome to the Community!

If you haven't done this already, I'd recommend that you connect your Bitbucket account to Sourcetree following the steps at Connect your Bitbucket account, so it doesn't ask you for authentication anymore.

I'd also recommend checking that there are no previous incorrect passwords, both in Sourcetree and in your credential manager.
