Bamboo Specs - Plan repository requesting global create permission

I am trying to add a Bitbucket repository to my Bamboo Specs managed build plan using the following code...

this.buildPlan.planRepositories(new BitbucketServerRepository()
.name(name)
.repositoryViewer(new BitbucketServerRepositoryViewer())....

 

Unfortunately its giving me the following exception....

Plan repository: You don''t have global CREATE REPOSITORY permission to create plan repository

The user that I am connecting with to run the specs code has full admin access to the project and plan being modified so why does it need global permissions to create a plan specific repository?

I think I got your point, but that is not how Bamboo permissions are designed.

No user can create a repository without the Create Repository permission. That is the same rule we have for users accessing Bamboo through the UI.

Administering the plan will allow you to link an existing linked repository to a plan, but will not allow you to create a new repository configuration from scratch. 

I guess the right thing to do here is either link an existing linked repository (created by another user) or add the Create Repository to the users trying to run Specs.
