I am new to sourcetree. Can someone tell if there is a complete listing and explanation of the symbols, icons, graphs used in sourcetree?

The documentation has a Understand the interface section, but it is a bit sparse. I would recommend that you take a look at Learn Bitbucket with Sourcetree, it gives a better picture of the interface.
