What IP address and network style does Sourcetree use when installing?

We're trying to install Sourcetree on a server, but we've been getting a network error when it asks to connect to your bitbucket account. We were wondering:

1. What IP address does Sourcetree try to connect to when performing the installation?

2. What port does Sourcetree use?

3. What network style does Sourcetree use (TCP or UDP)?

We're likely rejecting the outgoing network connection, but don't know what we should open up to allow it to go through. Thanks in advance!

Hello! When installing Sourcetree the Bitbucket login step requires that the webbrowser after login can ping back to:

http://localhost:34106

So as long as that port is open it should work fine. After registering you do not need that port to be open anymore: Sourcetree does not make any additional account check after the first registration.

As a work-around you may also copy the "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree" folder from another computer that has logged in to the server and start Sourcetree.
