Agent Installation Error: Server has not specified Agent bootstrap version.

Question

I'm trying to install a remote agent and I'm getting the following error message. I've only seen one other thread, from 2016, referencing this same error but no resolution was ever posted. I'm using agent version 6.1.1, Oracle JDK 8, and Linux Mint 19.

I was able to get this working. I re-downloaded the agent .jar and I no longer got this error message. The version numbers were the same for both the original file and the re-downloaded one but the md5 was different. I'm not sure what changed between the two but I no longer see that error.

@Tyler Berryhill looks good at first sight.

The url of the bamboo server is also right - correct? Just asking as you use ignoreServerCertName as option but referer to an http url

Hi @Kurt Klinner , I'm using Bamboo 6.1.1 and I'm installing it in linux using the following command: $ java -Dbamboo.home=/home//bamboo -Dbamboo.agent.ignoreServerCertName=true -jar /home//bamboo/atlassian-bamboo-agent-installer-6.1.1.jar http:///agentServer/
