I work on different repos and would like to set different e-mail ids for some of them, different from the "Default user information" that we provide in settings. Is that possible? If yes, how?
Yes, if you click on the 'Settings' button on the right-hand side of the repository window toolbar, then click 'Advanced', there is a user information section when you can uncheck the 'Use global user settings' option and specify different user details just for this repository.
