Where is my Trello content stored?

The most important question about Trello, to my way of thinking, isn't addressed on its website in any obvious place: where is the content of boards, lists, etc., stored? If on my computer: details?

If on Trello's website (the cloud), is it stored encrypted or in plaintext (details)?

What other measures, if any, are taken to ensure that Trello data is forever recoverable and secure?

I would never use Trello for any real-world purpose until these questions are answered.

This seems like excellent security and data protection, although AWS may be vulnerable simply because of its visibility as a primary cloud provider.

I only wish that information was clear in the introduction and overviews of Trello.

The entire Trello platform is backed up, but users are responsible for backing up their individual board data.

The way to approach data security for any cloud-based tool is the Shared Responsibility Model. The SRM is actually pretty common across popular SaaS apps.

In this case, you and Trello share the responsibility of keeping your data secure and available.

More specifically, Trello is responsible for the software, infrastructure, and disaster recovery of the entire platform.

You, as a user of the platform, are responsible for password security, permissions given to users and third-party apps, and backups of the data you put in your boards.

To protect your organization from data loss in Trello, you can use the Backups for Trello Power-Up, available in the Power-Up marketplace.

In the case of a data disaster, you'd be able to use Backups for Trello to swiftly restore your boards back to the way they were when everything worked perfectly.

@Boris Berenberg - Atlas Authority thanks for that link https://trello.com/trust. I checked it, but I don't see information how the particular card, list information is stored in you ecosystem. Is it encrypted using my account password an non from the Trello/Amazon team can access decrypted data in database? Or data become encrypted just after backup? This link https://trello.com/trust does not explains everything.
