We use Trello for managing our Maintenance Requests which are submitted via a Google Form that emails to the board.
I am wanting to automate the renaming of the Card to the answers from the description which is generated from the form. So basically, I need the trigger to be something like
For any card added to the board, rename the card with the first 10 characters following this text "TEXT HERE" then insert an ___ followed by the first 10 characters following this "text"
I feel like it can be done. I have added automated labels and archiving, but this one is more advanced and I cannot seem to figure it out.
Hello @Becky Davis
Welcome to the community. Cigdem from Hipporello here. Using the Hipporello Service Desk, you can get forms that create cards from form fills. For each form, you can configure settings as to what should the name/description of the card that will be created be. See below for more detail:
Let me know if you have any questions,

Hi @Becky Davis
This can be done. Can you tell me the following?
1) An example card name as it arrives on the board
2) What you want the card name to be after an automation is applied

Thanks for trying to help. when the card comes in, it looks like this:
The Title is New Submission
I would like it to end up like this:
Basically: The next 15 Character following the question "Which Location are you reporting for" an underscore, then the next 30 characters following the question "Describe the issue. Where is it happening and what is occurring?"
Thanks,
Becky
