We get too many emails when cards are moved or edited. We only care for notfications for when we are @ in a comment. Is there a way to have "watch, subscribe, follow" cards to be default to unchecked when added as a member to a card?

Hey JR

You can't do this within Trello, but you can accomplish this with an automation tool called Butlerbot

To add custom automation using Butlerbot, follow these steps:

1) Add Butlerbot to your board here: https://www.butlerfortrello.com/dashboard.html
-- A new list will be created titled "Butler"
2) Add a new card to the Butler list, using the follow text

when someone is added to a card, unsubscribe the member from the card

Then, any time someone is added to a card, Butlerbot will in turn unsubscribe them from the card.

That doesn't seem like a good fit because we're creating 100 cards a week and I ran through my "free" butler in the matter of minutes. Even if I had the highest tier it would fill up too fast.
