Hello Trello Community,
I am a vitality coach, working to implement vitality programs in companies across the Netherlands. As part of my workflow, I've been utilizing Trello to manage and track the various stages of these programs. I've encountered a specific challenge and would greatly appreciate any insights or solutions you might have.
I have set up a Trello board to represent the standard steps in my vitality programs. For each step, I've created a template card containing all the necessary information and tasks. My process involves moving a company's card from one step to the next as they progress through the program.
Here's where I need help: When I move a card to the next step, I want it to automatically copy all content from the template of the new step, delete all content from the previous step's template, and set a follow-up date for one week later. I've been trying to achieve this through Trello's automation rules, but I've hit a snag.
The main issue is that I can't seem to copy attachments from the template cards. This is a crucial part of the process, as these attachments contain vital information for each step of the program.
Does anyone have experience with this or know of a workaround? Your assistance would be invaluable in helping me streamline this process, ensuring a more effective and efficient program delivery.
Thank you in advance for your time and help!
Best regards,
Thanks for the reply, however that is not the question I think I am asking. I want too move a certain card from left to right from the board above and when I am moving card X to the next list I want it to copy everything from the template form that list.
Your answer if I am not wrong creates an entire new card and is also not an automated process.
Correct me if I am wrong!
If use a lookup then using prefix copy or {copyCard link} you can get some of the details you need but attachment will not be doable without use of api.

Thankyou, i know it is possible via link but that is working a way around, and also the attachements will not have the right name.
Thanks for your answer!

Just got off testing (1) physically copied of a card "marked a template" (2) via copy from a card button....in both cases the attachment care created on the copy.
