Comparing custom date with due date

David Cramp
March 5, 2023

Hi

I have a card with a due date and a custom date field "Target Date". When a card is moved in to a particular list (say "To Start") can I automatically set Target Date to the earlier of Due Date and today (the date the card is moved into the list) + 4 weeks ?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Its a bit unclear, but you want the Target Date to equal the previous Due Date, and to set the new Due Date as being 4 weeks from the day the rule is triggered, yes?

You can check the Variables here, might have to switch it to {triggercardduedate}? not sure.

If I misunderstood, and you actually wanted to set TargetDate to Current date + 4 weeks, then you can set the custom field to {date+4w}, more info in Arithmetic.

Also Custom Fields in case you want to refer to TargetDate itself, to complete the trifecta of help files.
