Hi, everyone!
It’s been exciting to see how you’ve been using Mirror cards since they were released earlier this year. Thank you to everyone who tried them and shared your thoughts with us!
Today, I’m thrilled to announce several improvements, both big and small, that will unlock entirely new ways to use Mirror cards, making them even more powerful than before—as well as easier to use. Here's what's new:
Sorting: You can now sort Mirror cards both through the list options and with automation, making it easy to organize your board.
Filtering: Filter results will now include Mirror cards that match the filter, so you can find exactly what you need.
Views: Mirror cards will now appear in the Calendar, Timeline, Table, and Map views, giving you the full picture in whatever way works best for you.
New “Mirror” action: We've introduced a new “Mirror” action for mirroring in the Automation menu. This action is also available when creating board buttons and scheduled tasks.
Connection automations between mirrored cards: If you want an action on a card to impact its mirror—or the other way around—you can select “find the source” or “find the mirror” in your automation (under “Cascade”) to easily target the right card.
Mirror to the Inbox: You can now select the Inbox as a destination when mirroring a card, so that it can be top of mind without giving up its place on your board.
Archive from the card front: We’ve added an “Archive” button when hovering over a Mirror card, so you can easily remove Mirror cards that you no longer need.
Previously, if you tried to select a free Workspace when Mirroring a card, your only options would be to start a trial or upgrade. Now, you’ll also have the option to create a free link card.
Link cards show the title and board name of the original card and link back to that card on its original board. They’re a handy shortcut, but they don’t include all of the information and functionality of Mirror cards. If you decide to upgrade later, your link cards will automatically be converted to Mirror cards.

We hope these updates to Mirror cards will help you to gain more perspective across your boards. As always, we welcome your feedback and look forward to hearing how these improvements are making a difference in your workflows.
Happy mirroring!
