New icons

Hi there—I’m Chris from the Trello Design team. You may have noticed a bit of a visual refresh happening on Trello recently! We’ve been working to modernize the colors, icon, and typography you see on Trello and it’s been rolling out across the product over the past few weeks. Here is a sample of some of our icons, before and after this refresh. Anything we changed was done so with the goal to streamline and refresh a visual language that has been around—in some cases—since Trello was first launched 15 years ago!

These changes are incredibly intuitive and shouldn’t disrupt your workflows. One that I did want to call out in particular is the Power-Ups icon. It’s gone from being a little rocket ship to an electrical plug 🔌 💡 but nothing else about the Power-Up menu or functionality has changed.

@Chris Castillo - I like the refreshing refinements, thank you for sharing!

• Sad to not see Trello branding on Board and Organization, but happy that admins (like me) who jump between many tools every day will see the same imagery for the same actions across Atlassian tools. 🙌
• 🤔 The After version of the Create icon has a smaller plus which might be a little tougher to read for low-vision folks.
