Statuspage - disabling search engine indexing

Question

Hi, a quick question, my statuspage has been public and indexable (by search engines).

I have now set it "Hidden" in the Page info configuration by enabling: Hide my status page from search engines.

Questions:

* Is Atlassian / SP.io contacting search engine APIs to include/exclude the page as configured?
* How long does it usually take to propage these changes?

Hello Martin,

This is Jesse from the Statuspage support team. Thanks for your questions! When you hide your page, we are essentially adding a meta tag to no index or follow:

Looking at this it seems that Google doesn't have a specific time when it recrawls a page but the changes would take effect on the next time the page is recrawled. They also have a request you put out to recrawl the page.
