Which permissions needed for source tree using an APP password?

I'm trying to setup my app password but my first attempt is failing.

I followed the instructions here

I have set full permissions for Repositories and Pull Requests

Failed to check login for user [myuser]
Your credentials lack one or more required privilege scopes.

Which other group does it need permissions for?

I've tried adding Projects but I get the same thing

Lastly I even tried all of these http://prntscr.com/m5yanr and I'm still getting the same privlege scopes messages.

Doesn't seem to make a difference if I choose https or ssh

Oath used to work great. And I wouldn't mind having to enter my TFA every session...

You will certainly need the Account Read at least as Sourcetree attempts to read your user profile to confirm the credentials are good.

Also can I ask why you stopped using OAuth?

The solution per help desk. Use SSH protocol and not HTTPS.
With SSH it will work either with Basic or OAuth

What sort of useless answer is this?? 'Account read at least.. why don't you know exactly what App permissions are required to enable Sourcetree -- Sourcetree is YOUR product.

How about you spell out the minimum permissions it requires. I gave up trying to find the minimum mix and ended up just giving sourcetree app permissions to EVERYTHING so the bloody thing would work.

It's this kind of rubbish support from Atlassian that is why I've migrated most of my gits over to Github.

Oh, this is hilarious. No response? Are we supposed to use OAuth or Basic with App Password, Atlassian?

Did you clean the file

%localappdata%\Atlassian\SourceTree\passwd

before setting the App Password? If not my SourceTree doesn't work.
