I'm using submodules which are shared between different projects, however in the SourceTree UI there seems to be no easy way of differentiating between a two submodules with the same name that point to same repo but are contained in two different projects.
I'm aware that submodule can be named anything but I'd rather not have to resort to some kind of prefix/suffix for the submodule folder names just so that I can easily tell them apart...
I thought about making a stash in each submodule reference with the name of the stash as the means of differentiation but is there any better way of doing it?
Hi
No, unfortunately Sourcetree doesn't offer anything built in for that. You can raise a feature request at https://jira.atlassian.com
