Hello Community Forum Users & The Atlassian Team,
As the support ticket for our application was closed due to non-qualification and a NO REPLY status, in addition to the Contact Us process seeming ineffectual for these purposes, we are unsure of where to petition but here in the community forums.
THE END FM is a small, youth-focused community (non-commercial/NFP) radio station in rural NSW, Australia. We have existing confirmation from our accountant that our constitution should suffice as evidence of our status, as it demonstrates in our purposes and appendices that we are NFP in nature, and contains the required constitutional clauses to be considered so by the ATO, and are therefore exempt from income tax. This meets eligibility clause (iii) in Goodstack’s Australian eligibility conditions: Registered with one of: Australian Charities and Nonprofits Commission (ACNC), (ii) hold Deductible Gift Receipt status with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), OR (iii) be income tax exempt not-for-profit organisations as defined by the ATO.
We are not sure how to provide a greater level of proof than providing our constitution given the professional accounting advice received stating ATO compliance. This is especially challenging for small, rural community organisations like ours. And, as we are a youth focused station, we are working almost entirely with volunteers under 20 years old, so we need all the support we can get from successful businesses like yours.
If you would like some other evidence, please let us know and we will make our best effort to comply within the scope of our limited resources. In any case, we hope that you will reconsider your determination.
Yours Sincerely,
Baron de Merxhausen
Station Manager - 89.7 THE END FM
This is a great place to petition, as you can see from the rapid response of Lauren!
Always feel free to post in these Community Groups.
One advise for any online forum, not just Atlassian:
Do not post personal details (address, emails, etc) publicly.
The Spam Merchants of the worlds troll through them all to find these details.
You can still remove your details by editing the original post (top right button menu)
Thanks for the advice, Andy. I've updated it accordingly.
