Discription field content search does not work

Question

Hi, there is a problem with search on servicedesk portal, help me please. i open my requests tab and i want to find task by content from description field but search doesn't work, search for requests field doesn't respond to description field content. JSM version 9.11.2

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- , Removing “+” from the searched text does not give a result, searching on the portal in the Requests tab also does not work, in this format, text ~ “help mi” also does not work. It turns out that at the moment the JSM functionality does not include a search on the portal based on content from the Description field, and I can’t do anything about it?

Text fields don't have an exact search option, you can look at the current options in the documentation here

The description field is intended for human text, and hence the search for it is quite "fuzzy" (as humans often make slepping mistakes or use synonyms).  There is no exact search for it (yet)

The fuzzy search ignores non-human language and that can actually confuse it.  Start by removing the "+" from the text you are looking for - it's being ignored at best.
