AI Security & Governance - what's on your mind?

Hi everyone! 

I am currently speaking to some people on the AI Security and Governance teams here at Atlassian. I am going to have someone come speak to us at our next community event on August 13, 2025. 

In preparation for the event, could you let us know what questions you have for this team? 

Examples include: 

• Roadmap for AI for HIPAA + GovCloud customers
• How is customer data processed, stored, and protected when used by AI features?
• Can we restrict what AI features have access to (e.g., specific projects, Confluence spaces)?

Please let me know what else is top of mind for you so we can prepare our speakers. Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Thanks for organizing this! I'd love to hear more about how access controls interact with AI features, especially in Confluence and Jira, and whether the data used by AI is retained or utilized for model training.

Thats awesome! Would you be posting the Q&A notes somewhere?

One challenge that we have is that when we connect Rovo to external tools like Google drive, it indexes the whole of google drive data. If there are controls to say which ones to include or exclude, it will be best.
