New Goal types experience starting December 1, 2025

Hi Focus community!

I'm excited to cross-post an exciting announcement from our friends who work on the Goals app. Starting December 1, 2025, there will be a new goal types experience: Goal types and better support for OKRs are coming soon. 

For Focus customers, you have access to a previous release of Goal Types which includes three out of the box goal types - Objectives, Key Results and Goals. 

Objective and key result are enabled by default on the goal settings page.

Goals created with the key result type appear automatically in the new dedicated key result section.

Progress on existing objectives remains unchanged, rolling up from key results and sub-goals. For example, an objective with two sub-goals and two key results calculates progress as the average of these four items until you add another success measure, after which progress rolls up solely from success measures.
